FAQ
FAQ: Institutions

Q1: Who is eInstructors.Inc, anyway?
A1: eInstructors.Inc is a Missouri for-profit corporation, owned by D. Kent Mulford, DO, MBA. Dr. Mulford is a licensed physician of more than 30 years, author, and entrepreneur in the online education arena. Dr. Mulford, was the founding dean of the School of Health Management, of A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Kirksville, MO the home of the original college of osteopathic medicine.

As founding dean, Dr. Mulford planned, designed, implemented and ran the School taking it from no students, no faculty and no income, to over 430 students, both nationally and internationally located, three graduate degrees (public health, health administration, and geriatric health management), three graduate certificates, and four health management areas of concentrations. In a little over 5 years, the School started earning income, and contributing to the overall success of the University.

Q2: If you were so successful, why aren't you still there?
A2: With success comes the desire to share with others. Not only had Dr. Mulford been successful in his practice of medicine (emergency medicine early in his career, then anatomic pathology and clinical laboratory medicine [boarded], and hospice medicine later), but also in the many other businesses he owned and participated in (cattle, aviation, and communications) including education. The interest in online education matured as he completed his MBA thesis about Online Education: 6 Steps to Starting and Online School , now a book available at Amazon.com.

Sharing his training and experience with others interested in starting or expanding their online (Internet) presence, is a desire rising out of his passion for giving to others as he has done for years in his medical practice.

Q3: If I was interested in using your consulting services, how would it work?
A3: Process:
1. Begin with an email to Dr. Mulford (see Contact Us) on this website.
2. Set a date and time for a conference call (Central Time Zone)
3. Discuss the needs of the institution with Dr. Mulford and an initial time-frame, and budget
4. If agreed, Dr. Mulford is able to visit the institution to begin the planning process, establish the parameters of the project, define the needs, determine faculty participation or need for Adjunct Faculty, and begin work
5. Most of the consulting will be over the Internet, saving everyone time and money, however, from time-to-time, a site visit will be necessary to keep things moving forward. NOTE: The most expensive part of this process is the indecision on the part of the institution. To keep costs under control, identify faculty, and administration that are willing to keep the project on schedule and have the resources ($$$.$$) and authority to make decisions
6. Begin work
7. Dr. Mulford is also able to write Learning Management System/Content Management System (LMS/CMS) specifications for Blackboard, eCollege, Moodle, and/or other "open source" software
